My Modern Art Mart was conceived and founded by Laura Weinshel of Green Bay, Wis. in 2008. Laura is an artist who specializes in large format acrylic on canvas paintings. Her unique and beautiful work is now also available as print on canvas.

Laura earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill and has an education in graphic arts from South Suburban College in South Holland, Ill.

Her work appears in select offices and homes in the Chicago, Greenbay and Milwaukee metropolitan areas.

Laura particularly enjoys the process of meeting with clients and their interior decorators to collaborate on color, form and perspective. This collaboration ensures clients develop a work of art truly reflective of their tastes and sensibilities.

Born and raised in the Chicago area, Laura has a keen sense of the urban sophistication so popular in the Midwest. Interior decorators and architects will relate to her business savvy as well as her ability to accurately express the client’s vision.
